William Taylor

William Taylor is a Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Engineering at the University of Connecticut. He previously received his Master’s in Business Analytics and Project Management (2019) and Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering (2014) from the University of Connecticut. His research is focused on using machine learning to model weather impacts and perform resilience assessments on the electric grid.  His other work and research interests include renewable energy policy, wildfire ignition prediction, and using underwater acoustics sensors for the measurement of meteorological variables.
