Coupled prediction of flash floods and debris flows

In collaboration with University of Padova, a novel framework has been developed for coupled prediction of flash flood and debris flows (Destro et al. 2018). The system utilizes information from spatially distributed hydrologic modeling and radar rainfall estimates to predict occurrence of flash flood and debris flows at very high resolution.
